Papa Dave is 49!!
David had his 49th birthday Sept. 14 and here a a few pics of the big event.

Family History Quilt
Doug and Jennifer went to the Exhibit of the International Art Competition of the LDS Church at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, and saw this family history quilt there. It has sewn into the border some of our family names including; Chivers, Hunting, Hunt, Radmall, Kings, and Severn. Jennifer has sent a letter to contact the woman whose name was on the display for this quilt, her name is Caroline Ida Kolob who lives in California, to see if she made the quilt and to see if the family names are our family names. The art exhibit if huge, it has 200 displays. They say that it is so beautiful and free to go. Here are the pictures of the quilt.

Jennifer's Crazy 8's
Favorite T V shows
1- CSI, Miami and Las Vegas (not New York!)
2- Divine Design
3- Barefoot Contessa
4- Good Morning America
5- NCIS – I never really know when it is on, I just stumble across it
6- All Christmas shows
7- Numbers – I never know what the heck they are talking about when it gets to the math part
8- The 6 o’clock news
Favorite Movies
1- The Sound of Music
2- The King and I
3- Anne of Green Gables (spelled with and “e”)
4- While you were sleeping
5- When Harry Met Sally
6- You’ve Got Mail
7- Sleepless in Seattle
8- Miss Potter
Favorite Restaurants
1- Tuscany
2- The old Finn’s (I hear there is a new one, but how could it be Finn’s without Mrs. Finn?)
3- Scotty’s on the Beach (Kauai, Hawaii)
4- Olive Garden (we hardly ever go because there is always too long of a wait)
5- Ruby River
6- Ruth Cris (I really have no idea if this is how you spell it)
7- The old Della Fontana – I think it is an office building now – how sad
8- Any where with French fries
8 things I did yesterday
1- blew my nose about a million times ( I have a cold)
2- read some of book 6 of my Anne of Green Gable’s series
3- fixed dinner for Doug and I
4- went to work
5- did a load of laundry
6- thought about my kids and grandkids
7- sent Doug to bed early (now he has the cold)
8- thought about doing some work at home but decided against it
8 things I wish for
1- safety, happiness and good health for all of my family
2- to be over this cold
3- for Kelly and Megan to find a nice affordable place to live after they are married
4- that Joe gets the job from Wachovia
5- That the economy will improve
6- more time with my family
7- that Doug was over the cold
8- that my grandkids will grow up with strong testimonies
8 things I look forward to
1- getting all the rooms in my house finished
2- making quilts for Kelly and Megan
3- Grandkids coming this weekend
4- Spring
5- green grass, trees, and flowers
6- time with Doug
7- the next vacation – where ever it is
8- getting home from work everyday
