Our Little Stud!

Here is our little Izaiah at 19 days old. He has grown 1 1/4 inches in length and now weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz. He had a visit this weekend from his big sister, Kenna. She so wanted to give him a kiss, but had to settle for just kissing and patting his little incubator! What sweethearts they are

Moto X Boys

I went to Reno & Treven's race meet yesterday and got some pictures I want to share. The first picture is Mark getting Trevie ready for his race. He won 4th place in his age group (age 4) He was such a champ. He never fell or even wobbled. He just chugged right along. Reno was just terrific. He won two first place trophies and one 2nd place. He was really smokin! I had a really great day with my boys.

Ashlee's Baby Shower

I just got around to transferring my photos from my camera to my computer and found such a good picture of nearly every one of my granddaughters all together. I think only Maddie and Tani are missing. What a wonderful group of terrific young women. You have no idea how happy it makes me every time I look at this picture. We were all together for a baby shower for Ashlee. I also love the one of me and Grandpa holding Taylor Joe and Brynlee. And now they are no longer such little babies.

Fish Lake

Mom and Dad went to Fish Lake this summer with Dad's family. They had such a great time. They really hope to be able to it again soon.

Hard Work!!

This is what Mom and Dad have been working so hard on all summer long. They say that all they ever do is weed, weed, weed, and then weed some more. Their yard is absolutely beautiful! Their garden is growing like crazy and they have harvested so much from it this year. And Dad’s corn was really good this year. We had to make fun of him last year because he grew just little mini corns. They tasted SO GOOD, but they were such a funny size. So, one day while we were at the mall getting some bows for baby Taylor we came across this sign and we just laughed and had to get it for him! They planted flowers all around their playhouse and it just looks so cute! Two very lucky little girls will be playing out there next year. All your hard work has defiantly paid off. It is beautiful Mom and Dad!

Happy Birthday!

So Dad turned 51 On August 29th. And we went out to eat as a family. Dad chose to go to a little Italian place in North Ogden. I’m not sure what it was called but it sure was yummy! Joe slipped out during dinner to tell out waitress that it was Dad’s birthday and so at the end of our meal she came out with a birthday dessert. Well, let’s just say it wasn’t the ordinary happy birthday here’s your dessert, dessert. We were giving him such a hard time while he was trying to decide what to order that the waitress thought she would just jump on board too. So she brought him a little pile of whipped cream with some chocolate chips on it and told him that she thought this might be easier for him to chew! Oh we laughed!! Thank-you to the funny waitress at the yummy Italian place for making the night so fun! And Happy birthday again Dad!

Bryn

Bryn is excited to get to go this weekend to her very first University of Utah football game! Daddy has been prepping her for this day since before she was born, a Utah girl is she!! {But, I hate to break it to her and Daddy but… Really this is her first Utah State University game! GO AGGIES, GO AGGIES, HEY HEY HEY!!} She now has her left eye tooth in and is starting to get her top two front teeth and her right eye tooth all at once, poor girl! She doesn’t sleep and Mom and Dad are really tired, but she is just growing up so fast. Little baby Bryn will be nine months old tomorrow! Bryn at the zoo with the Monkeys

Grandma Angie's Home Sweet Home

Well, finally, here it is! Our new house. Grandpa threatened to sell my camera if I didn't get this picture made. We are not quite sure when it will be finished, but it can't be too much longer. We are waiting for the painters, the hardwood flooring is going to be delivered next week and I have ordered my carpet. My own personal tile setter (Dave) is just waiting for his turn. My poor old brain in just about in overload. Please tell me it will all be over soon!!!! But I am really a lucky mom to have all these wonderful kids to help me.

The Big Kahuna

Doug returned from the Alaska fishing trip with Uncle Glen. He had a really great time. He said Alaska is so beautiful, it’s like the whole state is one big National Park. He loved the fishing and just look at the size of this fish, 240 pounds. The Captain of the boat kept telling him to get the rod out of the rod holder and Doug kept saying he was trying! After the fish was landed the Captain just laughed at himself for giving Doug the business about getting the rod out of the holder. Glen and Doug went for an airplane ride on Sunday (after going to church at the Seward, Alaska branch) and saw more beautiful mountains, glaciers, bears (!) and ice bergs! What a trip, our thanks to Glen for inviting Doug. We are all learning to like fish at our house – if you have any good recipes please send them along. Our love to all.

This One's a Keeper!

Well, it’s official! Kelly and Megan are engaged! The ring is beautiful! We are all so happy for them. Meg just turned 20 this month and she is going to school at Weber State. She is one of two girls in her family. She is a ball of energy. She is so cute, so very nice, and so very sweet. She is really good with all the kids and the kids just love her! We are pretty excited that we are getting such a great addition to our family.

Kelly just turned 23 in June this year. He is working at Praxair in Ogden while he is going to school. He loves to play golf. You should see this kid play!! He loves to frolf, which is a combination of Frisbee and golf. He loves to wakeboard as well. He is really good on the water. He gets crazy air!!

We’ll update you as soon as we find out the official date for the wedding. CONGRATS KELLY AND MEGAN!!

Chris and Britt Johnson

Brynlee is getting so big so fast. She is always on the go, always going a million miles an hour. You would think she would wear her self out but oh no. Mom has to put her in her play pen with toys just so she can take a nap. She loves getting into everything and when you tell her no she laughs. I am afraid to see what she does when she is 2. She loves her Daddy so much. She loves to say DaDa, still working on the MaMa. We are trying to teach her new fun things but she rather eat our food and play with toys. She loves to feed the ducks at the park and splash the water when we go swimming, she even loves her walks to the Library.

Chris is doing well at his job. He is working on getting transfered up to Logan as the Store Manager but we aren't getting our hopes up. He is writing a comic book with some friends and are almost done with their first book. He is very Proud of it. If you would like to check it out the website is at www.reliantcomics.com It is still under construction but it really makes him proud to have it.

Britney is still working at Shopko she got promoted to full time cash office girl. She loves having her own office and doing everything her way. It stresses her out a little though but she feels good about it. She is starting to write Children's books. The first one is about Astronaut Sally, She is almost done. She loves to play all day with Brynlee even though Bryn just wants her to watch but not play. She got a calling in church, she gets to teach the Sunbeams. She loves it, but says its a struggle though because the kids she teaches don't like to pay attention. But that is what coloring is for!
We got to get sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 10 2008. And Brynlee was sealed to us also. It was the most amazing experience we have ever had.
